The biggest city on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast is really quite charming. While many people choose Antalya itself for their vacation, I suggest spending your first day and night here before pushing off for spots further south, like Olympos or Kaş. While you are here, be sure to head down to the port. With mountains in the background that seem to rise out from the water, it’s a dramatic view. From here, you can go out on a boat for an hour to spend some time on the water. The bar and restaurant scene is hopping and it’s so fun to walk leisurely around the old city streets in the evenings. Be sure to walk through Hadrian’s gate, too!
